However, if another zombie makes it to the end of the lane afterward, the player must restart the level.To select plants, move your cursor over to them, click the Left Mouse Button, and then move them to an open plot of land. Most plants require sunlight to to be planted which you can collect by moving the mouse over it. The goal of each level is to defeat all the waves of zombies.When the level begins, you'll have a set plot of land to use. You'll start with limited plants but will get more as you complete levels. Sunlight will fall periodically from the sky and certain plants can generate sunlight which you'll need to collect. The plants and your sunlight amount are shown in the top left corner with how much sun they need under their picture. If you have enough, you can plant it but they'll each have a bit of cooldown before you can plant them again.Zombies will approach from the left side of the screen. When they encounter a plant, zombies will eat it until they're defeated or the plant is eaten. If even one zombie makes it to the front of your house, it's game over. As time goes on, zombies will get tougher, wearing armor, wielding weapons, and even having different movement to get around your plants. Different plants can counter different kinds of zombies.
