The original game takes place in a single, somewhat run-down pizzeria with a main dining area, a backstage area, and the security office. As the series progresses, new locations are introduced, such as a sister location with different animatronics and a more elaborate layout.The levels within each location are designed to create a sense of claustrophobia and dread. The corridors are dimly lit, and the rooms are filled with old arcade games, party tables, and other remnants of the pizzeria's heyday.
