Mario retains his classic abilities such as jumping on enemies to defeat them and breaking blocks to uncover coins and power-ups. The power-ups have been expanded and enhanced in this sequel. The Super Mushroom now not only makes Mario grow in size but also grants him temporary invincibility for a short period, allowing him to plow through enemies and obstacles. The Fire Flower enables Mario to shoot fireballs in a more rapid and powerful manner, taking out multiple enemies at once. There's also a new "Dash Mushroom" that gives Mario a super-speed boost, allowing him to zoom through levels and reach otherwise inaccessible areas.The levels in Super Mario Run 2 are more diverse and detailed than ever. Each world has its own unique theme, ranging from lush green forests to icy tundras and fiery volcanoes. The levels are filled with platforms, moving objects, and hidden secrets.
